この夏休み、暑い日本列島から逃げ出して、北欧三ヶ国を旅してきました。
This summer I escaped our hot Japanese islands and traveled to three Scandinavian countries.
魅力的な国々で出会った風景、人、体験の記録の一部を、みなさんとシェアしたいと思います。
I'd like to share some photos of the beautiful scenery, people, and my experience in these attractive countries.
旅の始まりはヘルシンキから。私たちが先ず見つけたのは、エスプラナーディ公園の赤い水玉の木々。
We started in Helsinki and found these trees wrapped in red dot fabric in Esplanade Park.
今年10月から始まる草間彌生のスカンジナビア巡回展のプレイベントとのこと、自然の緑と赤が美しく調和していました。
This is a pre-event for Yayoi Kusama's exhibition touring the Scandinavian countries which starts in October. It matched beautifully with the natural green.
大聖堂など名所を見て、食事は港のマーケット広場で獲れたて魚介を屋台で。
After the nice sightseeing at Helsinki Cathedral and other places, we ate some fresh seafood at a market stall in the port.
デザイン博物館では、エーロ・アールニオ展を開催中。ボールチェアを始めとするFRP製のキュートなチェアが色々。
At Design Musium, an Eero Aarnio exhibition was on with some Ball and FRP chairs on display.
夕方5時には、ストックホルム行きのシリヤラインの客船に乗り込み、翌朝まで16時間かけて航海。
At 5pm, we got on a Silja Line passenger boat bound for Stockholm and cruised overnight for 16 hours.
船内ではアクロバットショー、ショッピング、レストランでの食事を楽しみました。
On the boat, we enjoyed an acrobat show, some shopping, and dinner in a restaurant.
カジノやプールもありましたよ、私はやりませんでしたけど...
There was a casino and swimming pool too, thought I didn't try them ...
ストックホルムでは、旧市街ガムラ・スタンが魅力的。
In Stockholm, the old town of Gamla-Stan is a charming place.
王宮など観光名所をサラッと見た後は、ひたすら街中散策。
After going to some sightseeing spots like the Royal Palace, we went for a walk in town.
歴史を感じさせる街に並ぶアンティークショップ、カフェ、モダンでキュートな雑貨店…中には日本人女性が経営するアクセサリーショップも。
The historical buildings house antique shops, cafes, and modern styled stores ... and we found an accessory shop owned by a Japanese woman.
歩き疲れた私たちは、美味しいスウェーデン料理を堪能し、翌日からのゴットランドに想いを巡らせながら泥のように眠りました。(続く)
We enjoyed a lovely Swedish meal after our long walk, and slept well dreaming about our next destination of Gotland. (To be continued)
