もうすぐお正月 New Year Coming

今日は浜松市松韻亭で、御室流の華道家、湖風斎裕心先生の「知っておきたい日本の美 - 和文化入門教室」を受講してきました。
I had a lesson at Hamamatsu Shointei today, 'Japanese Beauty You Should Know - A Guide to Japanese Culture' taught by Yushin Kofusai of the Omuro School.

最初に、生け花鑑賞ポイント「美のつぼ」についてのお話。
To start, there was a lecture about 'the essence of beauty' explaining how to enjoy flower arrangement.

次に、生花、今回は稚松の活け方の解説。
Next, the teacher instructed how to make seika using young pine branches.
もうすぐお正月 New Year Coming

そして、作品の製作…
Then, we made our own Ikebana piece.

みなさん自作の作品の写真撮影などをして…
Everybody took pictures of their work ...
もうすぐお正月 New Year Coming

最後に別室にて、お呈茶のおもてなしが。
Finally, we were treated to macha tea and a confectionary in the next room.

ブーケのお土産もあり、と、盛り沢山の内容にウキウキでした!
Everyone was excited with the class and we received gift bouquet too!

さて、明日から大掃除をして、新年の準備をしなくちゃ。
I have to start my year-end cleanup tomorrow then prepare for the new year.
