２月26日にクリエイト浜松で開催された、第33回 笹田デザインコンペティションに行ってきました。
I went to the 33rd Sasada Design Competition held at Create Hamamatsu on February 26th.
学生のコンペティションのオープニングを飾ったのは、特別ゲスト、ファッションデザイナー松下成顕さんのショー。
The event started with special guest Mr. Shigeaki Matsushita, a real fashion designer show before the student competition.
長年パリコレクション参加ブランドに従事してきた彼が、今回のショーの為にデザインした作品が発表されました。
Shigeaki, who had been working for a Paris fashion house brand, designed some dresses for this event.
今回の作品は、地元浜松市福田町の綿、別珍などを素材に、ロングドレス、パンツスーツなど。
He used locally sourced cotton and velveteen for the dresses and pant suit from Fukude Town in Hamamatsu City.
テーマは印象派の絵画。
The show's design theme was, 'Impressionism Paintings'.
グランジ・ファッションを意識したデザインは、フリンジや切りっぱなしの生地が活きて、クールな装い。
His work, with a little grunge fashion flavor, looked super cool with the fringes and cutoff fabric.
生地の染色から手掛けたという力作、紫がかったインディゴと、サフランの様な黄色が印象的。
He spent a lot of time dyeing the fabrics, and the combination of purplish indigo with saffron yellow was eye-catching.
現在、成顕さんはご自身のブランド立ち上げのために活動中とのことです。
Currently, Shigeaki is preparing to establish his own brand.
私もいつか、彼のデザインした服を着たいな、なんて思ってます♪
Someday I'd like to wear clothes designed by him.
