We had our annual cherry blossom viewing party last Sunday at Hamamatsu Castle Park. 毎年恒例のお花見パーティを、先日の日曜日に浜松城公園で開催しました。
This year the best weekend to see the blossoms was a little difficult to predict ... we were a little early. 今年は一番見頃になる週末を予想するのが難しかったので、ちょっと早かったですね。
This year we made tea for students and friends under some very windy conditions. 今年は強風の中ではありましたが、生徒さんと友人達にお茶を点ててみました。
A few people even tried having tea for the very first time! そのうち何人かは、実にお茶を飲むのは初体験ということでした。
It was surprisingly popular and many people were taking pictures. 意外にも皆さんに大変喜んでいただけたようで、大勢の方々が写真を撮ってくださいました。
Of course there was a lot of great food and snacks ... wine and beer too! もちろん、食べ物とおつまみも美味しいものが色々…ワインとビールもね！
It's always fun drinking, eating, and chatting with friends under the cherry blossoms! 桜の樹の下で、友達と飲んで食べてお喋りするのは、いつで楽しいものです！
