This morning I visited the recently trendy Suzuki Ramen in Iwata City ... I tried yesterday but it was soldout at noon! 今朝、磐田市で最近流行っているスズキラーメンに行ってみました…昨日も行ってみたんだけど、正午には完売だったので！

As you can see, the style of the restaurant is a near copy of a Suzuki Motors car dealership. ご覧の通り、このレストランのスタイル、スズキ自動車販売店に近いよね。

Like half of all people in the Enshu area, the owner's family name is Suzuki. 遠州地方の住民の半数と同様に、こちらの店主さんも鈴木さんです。

Apparently he got permission from Suzuki Motor company to use their branding style so long as he didn't use their famous stylized Suzuki 'S'. スズキの有名な「S」のマークを使わないということで、スズキ自動車からブランドスタイルの使用許可を得たようです。

The menu is quite simple and I ordered the negi chashumen ramen for my breakfast. メニューはシンプルで、僕は朝食としてネギチャーシューメンを注文しました。

The interior is also very simple with classic ramen shop tables and stools. 内装もシンプルで、テーブルとスツールという定番の作り。

And a Suzuki Motors style sign on the back wall. そして、後の壁にはスズキ自動車風の看板。

My negi chasumen ramen had a soy based broth and was very satisfying. 僕が食べたネギチャーシューメンは醤油ベースのスープで、大満足でした。

The Suzuki branding is a fun idea sure to 'create buzz' on social media ... and the ramen is good too! 「スズキ」のブランディングは、SNSでバズるには、楽しいアイデアだなぁ…ラーメンも美味しい！

Suzuki Ramen is open from 6am so you can eat it for your early morning breakfast if you like! スズキラーメンは、朝6時から営業しているので、早めの朝食にもいけます！
