I went to U2 Kanaya Cafe Unautre last weekend in Shimada on my new scooter. 先週末、僕の新しいスクーターで、島田市にあるU2カナヤカフェ ユノートルに行ってきました。

The cafe is about 2 years old and opened during the corona pandemic. このカフェ、コロナ禍にオープンして2年くらい経つらしい。

It's located in an old refurbished storehouse and is part of a group of businesses that also do photo studio work and sweets. 古い改装された倉庫の中にあって、写真館の仕事やスイーツも手がける企業グループの一部なんです。

The interior is designed in a rustic, cozy style with lots of plants and has a warm atmosphere. インテリアは素朴で居心地の良いスタイルで、植物が多くて暖かい雰囲気。

There is original coffee for sale which they roast themselves on their roaster high above the kitchen. キッチンの上にあるロースターで焙煎した、オリジナルコーヒーも販売されていますよ。

Lots of funky plants hanging on the wall. たくさんのファンキーな植物が壁に掛かってます。

For lunch there was a beef bowl ... ランチは、牛丼と…

... and some cool temperature spaghetti that was a perfect match for the hot summer weather. ... 暑い夏にぴったりの、冷製スパゲッティもありました。

On the way home, I drove past the giant tea kanji on Mount Awa in Kakegawa ... very dramatic! 帰り道、掛川の粟ヶ岳にある巨大なお茶の漢字を、車で通り過ぎました··· とってもドラマチック！
