It's almost Christmas Day and another year has come and gone so quickly. もうすぐクリスマスですね。また1年があっという間に過ぎました。
Maybe I've been a good boy this year so I sent my wish list to Santa Claus. 今年は私は良い子にしていたはずなので、サンタさんにプレゼントのリクエストを贈りました。
I hope Santa brings me a 2018 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak Edition. サンタさん、私に2018ドゥカティのマルチストラーダ・パイク・スピーク・エディションをください。
I own the first version of this bike but this fourth generation has lots of nice improvements. このバイクの初期型に乗っていますが、この4世代目は素晴らしい進化をとげているのです。
While this motorcycle has never been the most beautiful on the road, it's large size fits me very well. このバイクは車道に出てもとても美しかったのですけれど、この大きいサイズが、私の体にぴったりなのです。
Unfortunately, I think the Ducati might be too heavy for Santa's sleigh ... although it could pull it no problem and it kind of looks like a reindeer. まあでも、残念ながら、ドゥカティは、サンタさんのソリには重過ぎるかも･･･でも、このバイクはサンタさんのソリを曳くことも出来そうだし、まあトナカイに似ていなくもないかも。
So, if Santa can't carry the motorcycle then I hope for a new large format printer. なので、サンタさんがバイクを運べない場合には、新しい大きなフォーマットのプリンターが欲しいです。
The Canon image PROGRAF PRO-4000 can produce high-quality A0 size prints. キャノンのPROGRAF PRO-4000は、なんとA0サイズのかなり上質なプリントが出来るのです。
I'd love to be able to print jumbo-sized art photos in my office and maybe even start a side printing service business. アート写真をオフィスでジャンボサイズにプリントできたらなあ、そしてサイドビジネスとして、プリントサービスまで出来ちゃったらいいな、なんて思うのです。
Sadly, maybe this printer is too big for Santa's bag. 残念ながら、このプリンターは、サンタさんの袋には大きすぎるかも。
Lastly, I ask Santa for a coloured-vinyl LP record by Scottish band Boards of Canada. 最後のサンタさんへのおねだりは、スコットランド出身バンド、ボーズ・オブ・カナダの色つきビニール製LPレコード。
I've longed for the original baby blue pressing of the 'In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country' EP. 'In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country'のEPのオリジナルの淡い青色のものがずーっと欲しいのです。
Cross my fingers (but expecting record only). どうかお願い（レコードだけでいいから）。
And don't forget to make a donation to charity this season ... my personal favourite is OXFAM as I used to work there. そして、この季節に、何らかの寄付をされることもお忘れなく･･･私の個人的なお気に入りはかつて仕事をしていたOXFAMです。
