I visited Kanazawa City again this year for a few days at Golden Week.
ゴールデンウイークを利用して、今年もまた数日間ですが金沢旅行をしてきました。
It's the second year in a row for me.
二年連続の金沢です。
This time I decided to use a circle theme for my blog's photos.
今回は、「円」をテーマにしてブログの写真を撮ってみました。
The top picture shows the gold leaf covered molasses syrup dessert I had for lunch.
上の写真は、お昼に頂いた金箔が載った黒蜜の葛切り。
This unique and expensive dessert is served up at a 190 year old tea house in Kanazawa's East Teahouse District.
この、個性的かつ高級なデザートは、東茶屋街にある、190年もの歴史あるお茶屋さんで給じられているもの。
Below, the top left picture shows the macha I had at Shigure Tea House in Kenroku-en Garden.
下の、上段左は、兼六園にある茶室、時雨亭で頂いたお抹茶の写真。
Green tea is always a good way to start a day.
朝頂くお抹茶はいつも最高です。

The top right picture is one of the chromed bean seats outside the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.
上段右は21世紀美術館の屋外に設置されているクロム製の椅子の一つ。
Cherry blossoms were still in bloom last week.
先週末、まだ桜が咲いていました。
Below left are a pair of round shaped geta shoes at the entrance to Kaikaro Tea House.
下段左は丸い形の下駄。懐華樓玄関にて撮影しました。

Kaikaro is an exclusive tea house with Geisha and Maiko performances at night.
懐華樓は夜は芸者さんや舞妓さんとのお茶屋遊びができる、高級お茶屋さんです。
During the day visitors can tour the house, but the night events follow the traditional 'referral customer' system.
日中はお茶屋さんの中を見てまわることができますが、夜には伝統的な「一見さまお断り」となります。
As you might guess, the last picture has nothing to do with Japanese culture.
わかると思いますが、最後の写真は日本文化には全く関係ありません。
I found an excellent South Indian restaurant in Kanazawa called, 'Spice Box'.
金沢で、「スパイスボックス」という、南インド料理屋さんを発見しちゃったのです。
The sheekh kebabs were great and my whole dinner was superb.
このシシカバブが激旨で、最高のディナーを堪能しました。
Highly recommended for a change of pace in beautiful Kanazawa City.
金沢旅行の折のちょっとした変化球として、めっちゃオススメします。
