January 24th was the 30th birthday of the Apple Macintosh computer.
1月24日はアップルマッキントッシュコンピューターの30回目の誕生日でした。
Happy Birthday to the Mac and its younger sibling the iMac.
Mac そして弟分のiMac、お誕生日おめでとう。
Anyone who has visited PoPBunka! knows we're Mac nerds.

I've owned about 15 variations of the Mac, iMac, and eMac line and currently use a pair of iMacs in our school.
僕はこれまでにMac、iMac、eMacラインの色々な製品を15台くらい所有していて、スクールで今は2台のiMacを使っている。
It's almost embarrassing to think how much money I've spent on Apple products over the years.
これまでに他のアップル製品にどれだけのお金を費やしてきたか考えると、恥ずかしくなっちゃうくらい。

To mark the 30th anniversary, I pulled out a pair of my vintage iMacs and plugged them in.
30周年を記念して、古いiMacを引っ張り出して電源を入れてみた。
It's been a while since I last saw them but they still look cool sitting on the table.
お目にかかるのはかなり久しぶりだったけど、テーブルに載せると今でも十分かっこいい感じ。
There's an original bondi blue iMac from 1998 and a 'sunflower' white iMac from 2003.
1998年発売のボンダイブルーいiMacと2003年発売の「ヒマワリの」白いiMac。
Both iMacs still work but have a little difficulty keeping up with the modern internet.
どちらのiMacも作動するけれど、最近のインターネットにはついていけないみたい。
Times have definitely changed.
時間は確実に流れているのだね。
