Have you heard about this two-legged walking dog in America?
アメリカの"二足歩行の犬"の話を知ってる？

My mother sent me an email about it yesterday.
昨日ボクの母親がこの話をメールしてきたんだ。

The dog was born in December 2002 and he has no front legs, only back legs.
その犬は2002年12月に生まれたんだけど、生まれつき前足がなくて、後ろ足だけだったんだ。

His original owners didn't want to keep him so he was put up for adoption.
飼い主はその子を飼いたくないって事で里親に出されちゃったんだよ。

A family soon adopted him.
そして間もなく里親が見つかった。

His new family named him 'Faith' and trained him to walk upright on two legs.
新しい飼い主はその犬を'フェイス（信頼、信念、誠実）'と名付け、立って歩けるようになるまでにトレーニングしたのさ。

The new owners used peanut butter on a spoon to help train Faith to walk.
ピーナッツバターをスプーンに塗ってフェイスを歩かせてね。

After 6 months, Faith learned to walk and now he loves to walk around.
6か月後、フェイスは歩き方を覚えて、今ではそこら中歩くのが大好きなんだって。

Wherever he goes, he attracts a lot of attention from people.
どこへ行ってもフェイスはみんなの注目の的。

Faith has become internationally famous and has appeared in many newspapers and on various TV shows.
で、有名になって海外の新聞やTVにも出るようになったってわけ。
