Recently, I have been gathering documents for my Japanese Permanent Residency Visa application.

I've had to dig up my old Canadian passports to check some dates on my prior visas.

I was looking at the original passport I used when I was a backpacker traveling around the world many years ago.

"Armstrong"の変わりに"Armstorng"、誤って"o"と"r"が入れ替わってしまっている。
Some immigration office pencil pusher must have carelessly misspelled my name.

It's actually a pretty sloppy mistake for an native English speaking person to make.
