Mattress dominoes is thought to have began as an American college pastime.
アメリカにある大学で休み時間に始められたのがきっかけだと考えられているんだよ。

It has become increasingly popular in Europe.
それがヨーロッパで飛躍的に人気になったんだ。

The first video is from a world record attempt last week.
ひとつめは、先週世界記録への挑戦が行われたときの動画。

244 people lined up to try to make a new world record.
244人が一列になって新世界記録を目指したんだ。

They are students from an international school in Portugal.
彼らはポルトガルにあるインターナショナルスクールの生徒達なんだよ。

Of course this is all just stupid fun.

They only managed to topple 41 mattresses.

I wonder if those mattresses are suppose to be for sale... Hmm.
