It's Valentine's Day today and I've received chocolates from some students.
今日はバレンタインデーだったから、生徒のみなさんからチョコをもらったよ。

Lucky me! (I like to think they are not obligation chocolates)
ラッキー！（義理チョコじゃないって思っちゃうもんね〜）

One of the more interesting boxed chocolates I recieved was called, 'Eclat D'Olympe'.
そのうちの一箱がコレ、'Eclat D'Olympe（惑星の煌めき）'。

They were made by a long established, family run French chocolatier named Foucher.
フランスで一族経営されている老舗チョコレートブランド、フーシェのものです。

In the box was a set of eight chocolates coloured and presented like the planets of our solar system.
箱の中にはカラフルなチョコが8つ入っていて、まるで太陽系を見ているよう。

Please note that chocolatiers have agreed with astronomers and Pluto has lost its chocolate planet status.
このチョコレート屋さん、このチョコ惑星群の中に冥王星は入れない方向で天文学者と取り決めをしたって、チェックしといて。

Consequently, there are only eight chocolate planets in the box.
それから、この箱の中にはチョコがたったの8つ。

These chocolates were quite expensive, I heard they cost about ¥2500.
このチョコってかなり高価で、一箱¥2500もするって聞いたんだ。

If we do the math, it means that each planet cost about ¥312.
でも計算してみると、惑星ひとつあたり¥312でしょ。

Looking at it this way, I guess they weren't very expensive after all.
こう考えると、結局そんなに高いワケじゃないんだって思う。

PS> Venus tasted the best although I didn't eat the whole solar system.
金星がいちばんおいしかったんだけど、惑星全部は食べきれなかった。
